MDS Leisure, New Forest based provider of maintenance, repair, service and inspection for professional sports, play, gymnastic and inflatable equipment, has been awarded Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation.
This is a mark of distinction in the UK as health and safety systems and practices become ever more important.

MDS has gone through stringent risk assessment processes, assessments and staff training in order to gain SafeContractor accreditation.

The Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation scheme recognises an organisation’s capabilities for health and safety. Founded in 1999, “SafeContractor” now has over 20 years’ experience in health and safety. It was also a founding member of “Safety Schemes in Procurement” (SSIP), the mutual recognition scheme for occupational health and safety standards.
MDS Leisure also has over twenty years experience within the sector. Matthew Sweed has a wealth of personal experience going back over several decades and is qualified as a health and safety professional through NEBOSH (National Board Occupational Safety and Health).
